2013 Prius V with 250k miles shutting down

So I was driving on country road with cruise control when suddenly cruise shut off. I had check engine light and hybrid light come on. Pulled over and opened hood. Oil and coolant levels good and nothing abnormal to see. Started back up and drove for maybe 20 minutes and shut off again beside a gas station. Saturday evening and couldn’t find a shop open. Waited half hour and drove again. Noticed battery meter showing ev battery empty. After about 1.5 miles it added a steering wheel icon and shut off. Put it into service mode and turned around to go back to gas station. Noticed the battery meter was filling (2bars or maybe 3?) then car died again and would not start back up again. Pushed it to gas station and parked it till Monday. Any suggestions? EV battery? 12V battery? Inverter? Still getting EPA suggested 40-45MPG.
