Corolla 16s and 17s as well as the Lexus CT200H 17s all clear the Primes brakes without spacers. Just bolt on literally.

Bumping this thread because I feel it’s relevant still… just picked up 2020-21 Corolla XSE 18x8 +40 today. Putting them on my 2012 this week… will post back with fitment details. Thinking of 5mm spacer in the back. Currently running the stock 17x7 with 5mm in front and 15mm in back. I have only seen one Gen 4 do this setup (I think he lives nearby) and in person it looked great. Yet to see on Gen 3 we shall see! 9781C9A7-2A49-47EA-9C1D-426F88843D43.jpeg

LMK if there are enough threads on the front studs with a 5mm spacer.

I'm mounting wheels and tires this Friday on our 2011. I purchased 5mm spacers because there is only about 1 to 2mm clearance between the spokes on the wheel and the brake caliper holders.

I'm worried that if I pass the spacers to the tire shop, they'll strip the threads off the studs by over torquing the lugnuts on the limited number of threads available.

I’ve been running 5mm spacers on the front of mine with the 17s for the last 100k miles no issues. Just hand tight then torque with a torque wrench. If it’s any reputable wheel shop they shouldn’t try to torque them to spec with the air gun. They will get them tight first then torque down with the wrench.

there’s plenty of thread for 5mm, and I also keep a torque wrench in the trunk for peace of mind and check regularly after rotations or in before long trips.

hey! There are more pics over in the What Did you Do today thread. MPG is still hovering around 47-49 per tank. Pre MPG was around 49-51. So a few drop in MPG. They are heavier I’m not sure how much more, I think maybe 10lbs per wheel+tire so def a bit more than stock. You can feel it a bit under braking. Accel is a little more sluggish but not by much, overall a trade off for the looks and handling improvements with the extra rubber!
