2014 low beams stopped working

Strangest things... got in my car this morning and neither headlight would turn on. I had to drive to work with my fog lamps on which was barely enough light to see anything. The high beams would turn on if I pulled the light lever back towards me, but not when I pushed the lever forward (which is how you normally turn your high beams on for them to stay on).

I checked all the pertinent fuses and they look fine. The bulbs look fine too, but I suppose they could have both gone out at the same time. What's confusing to me is the behavior where the high beams work when I pull the lever back but not when I push it forward. That makes me think it's not the bulbs, but something else.

Any ideas?
