    Hello experts,

Is there enough room to carry couple of 4 ft by 6 ft whiteboards inside 2014 prius plugin ?
Will i be able to see the side / rear mirrors with 4 ft by 6 ft whiteboards inside ?

Does that leave room for a co passenger on front / back

I can’t remember exactly, but I was thinking you could get away with 4x5 if it was put in at an angle. I think to get 6’ both front seats would have to be all the way forward

You can do 2x8 if you fold the right side seats down (including the front seat leaning back) and the end goes into the passenger footwell, but it’s tight and potential to scratch up the interior.

I purchased lumber once and hated the fear of scratching stuff up so I just plan accordingly and take the other vehicle

No it won't fit, maximum width is about 36" tight fit about 40" but you will probably scratch the car, maximum lenght with back seats folded about 5 ft, if you put all seats to the front maybe you can do a few more inches, i would not recomend doing this.

    No and No.

You’ll have to get a larger vehicle or carry it “mattress-style” strapped to the top.

I do not recommend this, especially if there is something important written on the whiteboard or you have low liability limits.

    Good Luck!

I've fit an eight foot poker table in the pri.

I've also fit entertainment centers, including the box, in the pri. I made bets with Best Buy folks that it would, indeed, fit inside. They are always impressed that a Prius can haul large items. Many pictures, speechlessness and jaw drops ensue once the hatch closes with my precious cargo inside.

I have carried numerous 10' long items, having the passenger seat out helps. I sold a lot of 300 watt solar panels (free delivery!) and as I recall, my '13 PIP has about 40" between the wheel wells. Don't think 48 wide is going to happen.
