I have a 2014 Prius 3 in silver. I have the stock black wheels with the plastic wheel covers. I really want some fancy wheels. Since I'm going to be needing new tires in about 5000 miles, I want to get something nicer. I have found online the alloy wheels for a 2010 Camry XLE. I like the style of them. Would they fit my Prius? I expect I would need to resize the tires. Which is fine since I think the tires/wheels on current car look too small. Another thought was look for wheels from a 2014 Plug In Prius. Or should I look for mag style alloy wheels from a 2010-2012 Prius. Any ideas gang? (57 here...not looking to make it look too pimped out) Bill

The Prius and the Camry wheels have different bolt patterns.

    5 x 100 for the Prius, and 5 x 114.3 for the Camry.

The Corolla has the same bolt pattern as the Prius. Some members have installed wheels from the Corolla S.

It's worth noting the Lexus CT 200h has the same 17" rim size as the Prius five. I think they look pretty good.

17 inch Corolla S wheels here, they go straight in no need hubcentric rings or spacers, will need to swap TPMS to donor wheels.
Lexus IS200 wheels are also pretty much same case scenario as Corolla S or SE wheels, just swap TPMS and you are good to go.
FRS/86 wheels you will need hub-centric rings, spacers to clear brake calipers, lug nuts, and swap TPMS, a bit more work to research if you ask me.

Those CT200h F Sports rims are the best looking on a Prius IMO

That's the route I've gone, managed to get a used set in not bad shape, cleaned them up. Found them here on Priuschat There was another set for sale recently, if I'm not mistaken?

I recall when we bought in 2010, most of our Prius education came from just walking around a lot, looking them over. At the time I could not stomach the (silver) 15" alloys with plastic wheel covers, and that tipped us to the Touring with nice looking 17" rims, and no #%%&! wheel covers. Then in 2012, Toyota took it another step: painted the 15" alloys black? Another step in the wrong direction.

After about 8 years with them, either I've learned to like the stock 15s or just not notice them anymore:p.

My PIP rim set is slated to gather dust in the crawlspace for about a year, then be used as snow tire rims when I replace the snow tires currently on Corolla steel rims. The 17" rims are still pretty popular in our household.

Yeah, putting fresh tires on the OEM 17" rims (Primacy MXM4 215/45R17), vs say Defender XT 195/65R15 on the PIP rims, the out-the-door difference at Costco is $313 and change, in favour of the Defender route, obviously. And each tire/rim combo is about 9 lb's lighter. I've researched this, lol.

I've put 2 sets on this so far in 155 k miles logged (and hoping for at least another set;)). I knew our Prius would be racking up the miles, so I wanted the most cost effective solution.

Now if we were only logging say @Mendel Leisk miles (or kms), I would have probably opted for the nicer rims.

Just to remind you of their beauty:

Only 45 k more miles on these until the next set goes on(y).
