2015 noob: Iphone 6 BT or USB?

    Only use the USB, especially with an iPhone 5S, 6, 6plus, if you will not be using the phone. Otherwise, the standard USB power is not sufficient to charge the iPhone. I did this with my 5S and it eventually turned off because of power to phone.

    You're better off using the DUN settings to connect the car unit to your phone via a personal hotspot. Then, you can keep your phone plugged into a charger in the 12V port.
