    Hi All,
I'm from Seattle,WA and new to Prius . Did a test drive on a Prius 4 HB and liked it .
Got a price quotes from dealer for $27,500 (OTD Price) with full service for 3 yr/36000 miles .
Is this a good price to buy ?

    Thanks

    Hi Bisco,
The dealer gave me a quote as below
    Internet Price = $26500 – Rebate $2000 + ( Tax +License +Doc fee ) = $27500.
have few more quotes and they are couple of hundreds more. I thought this wiil be a good time to get a 2015 car as 2016 will be soon in the market.

    Thanks
    Kr

Find a used one 2014 or older they depreciate to fast to justify buying a newer one! IMHO

There's a lot of truth in this statement. BUT...
If I wanted a used one, I'd really wait until the 4th Gen was released.
The release of a totally new Gen, will put a depreciation hit on the Gen 3's.

Not to mention that you might get a percentage of used Gen 3 Prius coming into the market from Prius Owners that upgrade.

I also DO think now is a good time to buy a new Gen 3, at what should be a substantial discount, if a new vehicle and new vehicle warranty is what you want.

But since the Gen 4 is arriving and gas prices are low, I'd really expect a good/great discount.

The OP's deal sounds OK. But doesn't strike me as on the fantastic side. Right now? I want a deal that greatness isn't vague.
Very soon all those "new" Gen 3's are the previous incarnation of The Prius, a substantial discount with this in mind I think should be forthcoming.

27,500? Not a big enough lure to me.

now is a great time to buy a new one as well. there just isn't enough info to know if it's a good deal. best bet is to get at least 3 email bids. msrp is on the window sticker, or you can build one at toyota.com.

Tell them $26,000 OTD including tint, rear bumper guard and all 5 rugs. That is a good deal for a 2015 Prius Four, although you can do a little better.

As previously commented, is a plain ok price from a dealer wanting to get rid of the floor merchandise, and NOW.
    They could do much better.
Right now it is a buyers's market.
Much better deals on previously owned Prius............

I recently bought a 2015 Prius two for 21.2K OTD. 27.5 seems a little high for the four. Try other dealers in your area. Most are trying to get rid of them to make room for the 2016 otherwise they'll be stuck selling them at huge discounts.
