I'm getting a $25,700 otd price on a blizzard white one. It has the 6 speaker system, no home link, or power seats. Thoughts on price?

If it sounds like a good deal, it probably is. It all depends on the buyer. I think you did well.

In California, people are getting them for about $800 to $1000 less than that price

If that's the case I would rather get a Persona for a few $$$ more for all that extra options than the.budgeted Prius II which cosy just a few $$$ less.

I got my Prius II in California during Memorial day for $21500 OTD, including $500 loyalty. It's much cheaper than a persona.

My friend bought a Prius II during July 4th, paid $21750 OTD without the $500 loyalty

A Persona or a Prius Two? Doesn't california have extra rebates on hybrids?

I think it all depends on the supply, demand and the popularity of the Prius in the state you're in.

I would also say the amount of dealerships in the area and the competiveness they have to get your business.

If I wanted a Persona here in CA, it would cost around $22000 - $22500 plus taxes, depending on dealer. We get $2000 rebate right now, the price includes rebates

Those prices are very competitive, most dealers can't do that price. There's only a couple dealers out of about 40 in the area, that are willing to deal with prices that low. It's a no haggle price too, just ask for Truecar or Costco pricing....which ever one is lower on the day you want to buy. It changes based on supply and time of month you are purchasing.

Wow, that is low. I don't think I could get that from my dealer, but I'll give it a shot. Any chance you can send me the numbers you got?

I didn't buy a Persona, those numbers are just numbers members on Priuschat have provided on their recent purchases. One of the lowest prices here is $22300 for the pearl Persona, and in another state, they paid $23000 with a trade in. These prices do not include taxes or registration

Where do I find those prices? I'd love to get this car at 22.3.

The truecar pricing is only for participating dealers in the area. If you expand your search, you may be able to get a lower price. We are fortunate here in CA we have 40+ dealerships within 100 mile radius to compete against eachother.

It's also best to buy at the end of the month, they usually have to move the cars after they miss their sales forecast for the month. If you shop in the beginning of the month, they may not need to move the car yet, knowing they still have the entire month to meet forecasts.

Thanks for your help, the fact that I think I'll probably spend another 500 on improving the sound system will factor into the price of this car too.

I purchased Blizzard Pearl Persona for $22,300 at Santa Monica. Had the choice for $23,000 for the red one. I did haggle and use all possible advantages I could to get lowest price possible. Like JC said So Cal is lucky we have so many dealers within 100 miles to compete with each other. There's only 6 Persona left in So Cal within 200 miles and they're all red.

FWIW, I added homelink to my Prius very easily by buying a mirror (complete with wiring harness) from a parted out Prius off eBay for $24.
