Hello everyone, I am a new joiner

I own a 2015 Prius V/Prius Plus (face lift) with 230.000 km on the board. In 26 December 2021 , out of the blue, it won't start. The dashboard lights up with all the warning lights. The engine won't start. I can physically move the shifter but nothing happens and No "Ready" mode is activated = The "Ready" light is off. I checked the 12v voltage under the hood in the fuse box. Also I checked the relay. I verified an aditional 12 v battery. I changed the new battery for keys. The car was tested with original Toyota scanner and NO error code! Any ideas on what could be going on, and or any possible fixes.

    Thanks in advance, Max.

The no code finding is probably not true.

Have you checked the fuses and fusible links? Sometimes a bad 12v battery leads to a damaging jump start attempt where the jump is momentarily reversed, blowing the 125a fuse buried inside the engine fuse box along with others.

Another common issue is a failed inverter.

    Hello,
Thanks you for your reply I really don't know if it is true or not, they told me (the dealer) that after the scanning no error codes have been detected. I know that after diagnosis they said me to buy smart key ecu calculator and power management calculator. After the replacement of the both modules the problem persisting. I got the car from dealer and I took the car to a good electronics specialist.
I mention that he has not repaired Toyota Hybrid models so far, but I want to help him somehow.

Anyway, thank you very much for the information, I will pass it on and let you know ...

This was diagnosed by a genuine Toyota dealer? And they told you to buy two modules which then failed to solve the issue? But no codes? Sounds like they really did not know what they were doing and just guessing.

    Hello,

Exactly I think they just performed exhaustive testing using error guessing technique.
I know that the dealer in my country is not the same like in USA :).
Meanwhile I buy and changed new 12v battery and verified 125a fuse, it looks fine. The issue persists.
Other suggestions, which should be checked?

    Best regards

If it really have no codes and no Ready maybe the car is not seeing the Brake input that is required. The Toyota Techstream scanner would easily see that input as can many other scanners.

I suspect there is a code but your mechanic did not use the Toyota scanner and missed it. Perhaps there was a repair like the 12v battery replacement but somebody added a problem in the process. Like pulling the hybrid battery orange plug and failed to properly reinstall. Fixed the original issue while adding another. There are a hundred possible issues so its hard to guess without more data typically obtained using the scanner.
