Shopping around for a 2015+ v. I'm really excited because I'm upgrading from a 1993 Civic VX hatchback that I've been driving for 9 years. I will finally have AC!

From what I've read 2015+ are the best years because they fixed the oil burning issues. Is there anything else I should look out for? When I get it I will do a Coolant and oil change and clean the EGR cooler. Is there anything else I should once I get the car?
I'm looking at used models under 100k miles. How much mileage is too much for a used v?

They also updated the front end for better crash protection for 2015+

The V was stuck in Gen III up to its cancellation,
    supposedly 2015+ had ring improvements,
As such similar precautions need to be taken as any 2010-2015 Prius

That said there are 400,000 mile + examples but some Vs get much lower than expected economy compared to other identical cars.

Best to keep the EGR clean, have a catch can and keep an eye on things.

a few have done a Gen IV swap into the V, if you are so inclined it’s a solid swap.

    good luck

Get the youngest one you can afford. Congrats, they're great cars.

Don't get caught holding one too long. Hybrids don't age as gracefully as simpler cars, so plan a shorter stay if you know what I mean.
