2016 tires?

    Hi all,

    Which tires do new 2016 Prius c come with? Does it depend on where they are purchased? And, are they all low rolling resistance (LRR) tires? On yours, do you have the stock tires, or did you change them?

    Some C's will come with 195/50-16 inch tires and some will come with 175/65-15 inch tires. 16 inches will look cooler, but the 15 inch will get better MPG.

    Tire Rack claims the 195/50-16 and 175/65-15 OEM tire is the Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02. Usually Toyota uses multiple tires vendors.

    They usually are, but Tire Rack did not claim that tire was LRR, so we can hope they got the wrong tire.

    PriusC Three. 2015. 70k miles. OEM and replacement. Good Year Assurance Fuel Max. 175x65x15. PSI 49 lbs X 4. This tire has a high maximum tire pressure rating. Extra tire pressure and light driving style has always been the formula for improved fuel economy over all else. This has worked for me.
