2017 - 2022 Prius Prime - 8.79 kWh Battery and charging system info

    It was a by product of extra heat while charging the pack in winter.

    I took a fifteen minutes drive today and logged the 12V battery voltage realtime. Since the app only realtime log the last 5 minutes, this is what this screenshot shows.

    (Reason for the PiP is I kept taking screenshot until the graph filled up before it refreshes to a blank one)

    But as can be seen, the 12V battery voltage stayed pretty constant. My voltage monitor is connected directly to the battery's terminal and not to any busbars. Is yours the same?

    The same hook up. Sometimes stays steady on voltage like you show, but mostly not. Anyway it’s good to know where soc stands. AAA is fine for jump starts, but it’s not like they rush right over. I never have had it happen in my life. It will be interesting if things stay the same on yours. Maybe my battery is not up to par, who knows what a dealer does on the lot even with a new battery.
