So not only is this my first Prius, but it’s the first brand new car I’ve ever owned. I want to make it last as long as possible and take really really good care of it. What are your thoughts on how often I should use fuel injector cleaners like Sea Foam? Any other regular maintenance things I should regularly do other than the dealership visits every 5k miles?

I'd recommend Techron every now and then. Works great.

Fuel injector cleaners should not be generally needed. The Prius is an exceptionally well built car. In addition to the recommended maintenance some people replace the transaxle fluid with the Toyota product even though Toyota claims it is lifetime. I think their definition of lifetime is 100K - 150K miles. The Prius can last much longer than that.

if you use fuel injector cleaner every 100,000 miles it will still be overkill. I use Techron every 100,000 miles out of an abundance of caution.

As a brand new car, isn’t the transaxle fluid already the Toyota product?

Yes, he is recommending staying with the Toyota product, as do I.
Since Toyota does not mention ever replacing it, you get to use any interval you like.
I use 30,000 miles, then 90,000 miles then every 90,000 miles, but that is just me.

It is, but Toyota says it is lifetime. People changing it and having the old fluid tested find that changing the fluid was a good preventative maintenance.
Some people have tried using some third party fluids but they may not have the electrical characteristics needed to safely cool the transaxle motors, for instance.
