    prices seem pretty stable right now. haven't seen anything extraordinary lately.

    Since when have they been stable? They just announced another $500 rebate less than a month ago.

    As usual, people are happy with the lower gas prices we are experiencing right now. I bought my Prius because of the good mileage, but also for the low maintenance cost over the duration of my loan. I am done with having a truck that I hardly use and pay a premium for, or any of the other cars I have owned except the ones with low maintenance and good gas mileage. I barely spend 50 dollars a month in gas now, as compared to $200 a week that I use to spend. My paycheck now belongs back to me.............and my car doesn't take most of it.

    I think if your goal was to save keep your paycheck.. buying a Corolla or would've been better.
