    Lee Jay,

Where did you order your seat covers for your prime and how much? We’re thinking of getting it too because our kids can really ruin our seats quickly especially it’s white. We tried our best to get the kids to be as neat as possible but no luck.

    Thanks!

Don't have them yet so I can't say about service. The covers are made by coverking.

    Lee Jay,

Thanks for your reply. Please let us know when you receive it and give us a review with the quality and price because we need to get one soon because our softex seats are getting ruined by our kids.

    Thanks!

I received my covers from Coverking and they fit pretty darned well. There are no installation instructions on their Youtube channel for the Prime, just for the 2016-2018 Prius, so I used those. There were a couple of things I had to figure out but no big deal.

There's one design flaw (in my opinion) that makes the front bottom covers very hard to install properly, namely that the straps that go under the seat have the buckles on the wrong ends. It means you have to tighten the straps from under the seats, which is quite difficult. I ended up up-side down in the back seat, supporting some of my weight on my head so I could see and tighten the straps. It could be done by feel and I'd do it that way if I had to do it again.

Well, I've now had them on for a week, and we've had temperatures from 18°F to 60°F. I left the car in the sun today to see how they felt when the interior was hot.

Bottom line, they are an absolutely MASSIVE improvement over the Softex! They are way less slippery so you don't slide around on them like you do on the Softex, they are warming when it's cold, way, way cooler when it's hot, and the seat warmers still work, just slower.

Can't say much about long-term stain resistance or durability yet, but for right now, I'm very happy with the covering up of that awful Softex material!

Very nice. Which material did you choose? (I'm looking at the coverking website, and like the Spacer Mesh material).

I'm assuming you chose blue because you have the blue Prime.

Gonna go with the SpacerMesh as well since the biggest selling point on that fabric is breathability. Thinking Cammo will look good lol

JK going Black, just ordered from CariD dot com will report back
