    Hey Folks,

This is a question for all of the 2018 Camry Hybrid LE owners:

If you have the Blind Spot Monitor, was it required to also add the Moonroof, Connivence, and Audio Packages in order to get the Blind Spot Monitor?

Have dealt with 5 dealers now, and they all say that if you want the Blind Spot Monitor, you must add the Moonroof, Connivence, and Audio Packages. They can't even special-order the Blind Spot Monitor without the other Packages.

Apparently, either Toyota Manufacturing or Gulf States (I'm in Texas) requires that all of these be combined on the Hybrid LE.

Seems silly to me to require a moonroof to get a safety feature.

there are 3 versions. you can find the details at toyota.com.
toyota does not sell individual options, you get what you get with each package.

In Portland OR the dealer sent it to Coach Auto to have the Blindspot and pedestrian backup warning installed aftermarket for $1,400.
This got me the safety features I wanted and avoided the $3,000 package I did not want.
