We’ll probably see updates on all 2018 models when the Tokyo Motor Show opens up - 27 Oct to 5 November. Probably see updated info on the Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid as well as 2018 Toyotas which aren’t quite for sale now.

I'm guessing Toyota is holding off introducing the 2018 Prime until all or most of the 2017 Prime's are sold, and if that's the case, perhaps we'll see some interesting enhancements to the 2018 Prime.

If anything, Entune 3 will show up in a 2018. Probably a welcome change (if it happens), but hopes aren't very high that it will solve anything, since it is still Entune. Meanwhile, all of us that are forced to live with the non-connecting and random rebooting ver. 2 are pretty much screwed.

They may hold off on that until it is debugged on the 2018 Camry.
