    Hi everyone,
I used Seafoam fuel injector cleaner. After I used it, my MPG went from 55 MPG to 45 MPG. I read this stuff can clog up your fuel system. Has anyone lse had this problem? I can remove my fuel injectors and have them professional cleaned from RC Injectors.

If I do have my injectors serviced, how do I prime the fuel system?

Why would you try to clean fuel injectors on a three-year-old car? Top-tier gasoline already comes with detergent.

    No "priming" is necessary.

    BUT......don't panic just yet.
There might just be a mistake in the calculations somewhere.

Run all of that Snake Oil out of the tank, or most of it, and then see what happens after that.

SeaFoam is NOT a good fuel system cleaner.......despite the marketing lies that they tell.

A dose of Techron every 6 months or so is widely recognized as the best.......IF you insist on doing something that you don;t really need to do.

If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it.
