2020 Toyota Prius Prime Event Charge Schedule Not Working

    I just bought my car the latest model 2020 Prius Prime LE about a week. I'm having problem with Event Schedule Charging. I would like to set up my car to charge every night at 10:00pm, seems easy, however I can't get it to work, every morning, I check but my car was not charged the night before. Manually charge is working properly, but not for Event Schedule Charging. I brought my car to the dealer, after 6 hours trying from technician, they couldn't figure it out either. Now, the dealer is contacting Toyota to figure out what is wrong. Very confusing. Do any of you having the same issue?

    Some questions:
    • Is the car charging up at all?
    • Our 2019 Prime is set up to finish charging at a certain time. What time have you plugged in compared to the 10 PM time?

    No, not charge at all (for schedule event charging), I plugged my car in 2 hours before 10pm.
    Not sure any limitation on LE model, any one having 2020 Prime LE ?

    I have had multiple problems on each Prius, the car employs different logic than we are used to. In my case I was hitting another button which actually caused the whole procedure to be null and void. Also, I was waiting
    for the “ CONGRATULATIONS “ feedback, which never comes. Hopefully your car is broke and they have to fix it. In my case it was simply procedure. Do not think the the Service Personnel that greet you are extremely
    swift, they may have never sat in a Prius before.

    Make sure that the calendar and clock are set properly. I couldn't get my charge schedule to work properly the first couple of days after I bought my car until I realized that the dealer or whoever had set the clock to 12 hours ahead.

    I was going to say the same thing.

    And also, after you plug in with scheduled charging enabled, the green LED at the charge port should blink a few times and then go out until it starts charging. Once it goes out after you plug it in, if you open one of the doors, the dash should tell you when it's scheduled to start or stop charging depending on which type of schedule you're using. If it is charging when you open a door, the dash will tell you when the car expects to finish charging.

    yes, that happened to me too - the dealer set the clock to AM instead of PM, and my scheduled charge was not occurring. It's confusing because the clock on the dash doesn't display AM or PM. I had to put mine in 24hr mode to set it properly. Once I did that, my scheduled charging worked. Thanks for the tip!

    I was having the same issue with the timer. I just checked, and it was indeed the clock on PM vs AM. Thanks all!

    I'm actually having a problem with a specific day. Schedule charging works for my regular weekday charging without a problem, so I know it's not a calendar/clock issue. I've even schedule charged for a sunday, but it does not want to schedule charge for Saturday. This is the 2nd time this is happening. It just tells me my next charge is for monday morning. It makes no sense. Anyone else have this issue?
