    And didn't even listen to all of this hype about some virus going around either.............:eek:

    Seriously, they sent you that "questionnaire" for a reason.
    It could be that you just didn't respond online soon enough but there likely were additional questions on it.
    You should at least read it before you throw it out.

    I'll wait till after the 1st solely so I know who was alive and living here on that date.

    I didn't receive a questionnaire. My address received a two page letter, one with a series of non-english language translations. The other containing a code I was to use on logging in.

    Questionnaire? What questionnaire?

    I received two mailings, dated four days apart. Both contained my Census ID code for an on-line response (to pre-fill the address field), one also had a FAQ on back. But neither had any questionnaire.

    The first mailing I got was a 16 page questionnaire, 8 pages in English, 8 in Spanish, which also included an envelope to mail it back. The second mailing was a letter which had the census code, for completing online.

    Yesterday I noted:

    "They have long had multiple levels -- the basic simple stuff from everybody, a larger and more detailed form for a smaller random sample, and an even more detailed version for an even smaller sample."

    So it appears that you are in the small group getting the middle version this time, while I got the first version that most people get.

    Have you tried filling out the on-line version, to see if it includes everything on your paper questionnaire?

    When I filled out the online version, it would block out questions that were no longer relevant, due to previous answers. That's why it only took a few minutes to complete.

    Sorry but "the government" doesn't work that way.
    But given your analysis of the situation, maybe you work in some government bureaucracy already.

    The point IS that ignoring that other mailing altogether is IRRESPONSIBLE.

    My first mailing was addressed to me and directed me to go online and fill it out, which I did.
    The second mailing was addressed to "Resident" (or words to that effect) and directed me to go online and fill it out - I threw it out.

    I got the mailings, didn't pay attention to who it was actually addressed too. Be something to do while on forced telework, along with taxes.

    We received a Census postcard yesterday, our third mailing from them. Dated Thursday, nearly a week after filling out the on-line version, so there is a significant pipeline delay in culling respondents from the list for new mailings.

    And again was still addressed to Resident, not to any proper name.

    Yap, same here. Finished in less than 3 min. I was just so hesitant to sign off the full name and BOD online anything. I hope they don't lose them.
