it actually worked out. i just put $500. down on an red LT with mandatory driver assistance, comfort and convenience packages.
$33k-11k tax credits - about 8k trade in nets to 14k + about $1,500 ttl = $15,500. out of pocket.
supposed to be here oct./nov., now i don't have to try to figure out what's wrong with the prius, other than it's a gen 3 engine.

i wanted a premiere, but because the cancelled order was an LT, gm wouldn't allow the change.

the person who cancelled bought a leaf.

toyota just came out with $7,500. off bz4x to make up for tax credit loss. i just got an offer:

    $44,000. less toyota $3,000. discount = 41k. - 11k in toyota and tax credits = $29,000. net

not bad, but i like $22,000. for the bolt

Compression damping too soft, rebound too slow. What are the people on bolt forum doing about that

Actually, I think you might fins it more comfortable than the PiP. As I recall, my EUV is way better than my PiP, but having the Pime in between might throw off my assessment a little.

Oh my!! No battery thermal management at all. What were they thinking? That battery doesn't even have a fan like a PiP or a Prime. I think you chose well. Hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

It feels to me like both compression and rebound are a bit under damped. Tends to pogo a little after the right kind of bump, like on poorly executed bridge transitions.

    thanks jerry,
i haven't been this excited since i ordered the pip in 2011. now that that's done, it's time to start researching solar. i'm going to drop a post in your thread, with a few questions.

This is proper terminology to describe suspension. You are just knowledgeable. Max McAllister at traction dynamics in georgia and Dave Moss in California can give you training.

I'd seen OPD written out a few times recently here at PC, I think the part that caught my attention and probably disassociated the acronym for me was the part about using it in reverse. @jerrymildred
I wanted to make sure I understood what was being described and it took a while to find it written out in the bolt forums.

Yes, that's what he was talking about. I don't think it's bad, but it's neither a sports car nor a limo.

As mentioned by a couple people, it does have active liquid cooling. It's the Leaf that STILL has no cooling of any kind. We all know that heat is the battery's biggest enemy and Nissan gave the car no defense against it other than throttling the charge rate or the propulsion power when the battery gets hot.

Are they going to even continue with the Leaf?
