I recently purchased a used 2022 Prius. The locking from the key fob works fine. But I've gone into Vehicle Preferences and configured it to auto-lock the door after 30 seconds (walk-away) as well as when I shift out of Park (vs at speed). Neither of those settings are working. Did I miss some other incantation?

If it's my 2017, that 30 seconds is when you unlock and fail to open a door within that 30 seconds, not walk away. I unfortunately have no walk away lock, which is stupid IMHO.

I have a 2022 XLE: If set correctly (as I have mine) your vehicle will lock when placed in D from P. However, the previous poster is correct on the “walk away” setting: it is only when you unlock the door and don’t open it that it will relock.
