    Advancements for autos hinge on Needs ,Desires and are continuous . One only has to look at
    past Auto ad's Quaintness offering power mirrors .
    Toyota's direction and customer base will further grow with advancements
    hybrid's are here to stay .

    oh, i hope not. we'll never solve the climate problem (if it can be solved through transportation energy changes) if we keep butning fossil fuels.

    however, i agree that toyota and others will continue to pander to customer needs and desires, instead of leading the way.
    profit, after all, is what keeps companies in business
