With 275 miles of range and available AWD this looks like an enticing little SUV. Look to order this SUV via VolvoCars.com.

The NMC battery is reported to be sized at 69 kWh and can be fast charged from10% to 80% in 26.5 minutes. The dual motor AWD version can push the car to 60 mph in about 3.4 seconds. I would assume the 275 miles of EV range is not for the AWD version nor is it specified EPA. I would guesstimate the EPA range to be closer to the bZ4X AWD or RZ 450e. Currently this will be built in China so it wouldn't qualify for any Federal tax credit.

And Europe. Maybe here in the US as well since you don't have to pony up $45,000 first to get a tax break. Very minimalist interior with basically a big screen ala Tesla.

Hey it's supposed to have a Swedish flag on the hood! That might bring in a couple more.

Yeah, I saw the article today. But no tax credit is a deal-breaker for me. Besides, I don't think it will be available in quantities fast enough just like Bolt.

64kWh net. I think the 275 mile is EPA? The UK site lists 298 miles combined for the single motor extended battery.

    It’s 5cm (2”) shorter in length than a Golf.

If you lease, the manufacturer can pass on the tax credit. That’s a loophole that Kia is using for their EV6.

Yes, I am aware of the loophole. Nissan is doing a similar thing with their BEVs. But, if I lease, then I lose the state incentive max up to $7500. Kia EV6 is a beautiful car, but it is too much of a car for my daily drive. Yeah, if it is down to a $99/month lease deal like Hyundai had for Ioniq EV some years ago, I will jump on it. But no way I will find a deal like that now.

For now, if I have to go back to a daily commute and need to buy a daily driver for myself, which is still up in the air depending on the management decisions, my first choice is Bolt EV on cheap to purchase new for around $12K after discount, incentives, tax credit. The only other choice would be a Bolt EUV for a couple thousand $ more. No other BEVs on the current market come anywhere close to this number.
