i bet they're way heavy, and it will ride like a conestoga wagon. ebay em to some fool and get some lightweight wheels.

That would be my other concern. WRXes have the same BCD you know.... used rims will be cheaper.

Not sure on offset have to check- don't care how heavy they are as I will only use them for about two months out of the year so mpg drop is expected and ok with me :)

ET means 'einpresstiefe', literally, "press depth" and that is the offset. WK 301 seems like a wheel design number

Generally Prius have been working with offsets around 40-45mm, 32 seems quite a ways off by about 10mm. But I know one place that trades 16x7 Enkie wheels that are 35mm offset, so theres hope :)

But ok, so that means the center of the wheel is 32mm from the brake rotor surface where you attach the wheel. I figure this would mean you might need spacers to get your wheels to clear suspension, but because they are larger diameter I cant be certain. OTOH if you bring the wheels further out to clear then you will eventually foul the body of the car as the suspension works.

I guess you are going to have to jack the car up and try a front and rear to see if they clear. Kind of interesting...

Nice. Can you take pics from further away? Do you have plans on lowering your car?

I was looking at similar ones...the TSW Nurburgring

believe it or now they fit with no problem, only thing I am not sure about is the rear because I never loaded full car of people to check if they would rub. I think it would be fine as the car sits super high with the wheels.

here is more pics with rear being stock. I don't have pics with all wheels on currently =( sorry. Keep in mind I had mine on for 2 days and the stock one's are going back on asap. The car looks nice but simply has no power. I noticed the engine is running almost all the time and its very hard for the electric to move the car. I had to almost floor it to make it get out of its way when pulling out onto main roads. no lowering as this is my daily and winter car. (but i do love my two little tens helps out the sound very well)

thanks, thats really interesting and blends with a lot of other user experiences with 17" wheels. These 19's being more extreme show the phenomena even more and without you trying it we wouldnt be certain how bad it is.

My 16" stock size wheels show these characteristics with race-compound tires on at stock pressure. I'd argue that it has a lot more to do with the tires than the wheels.

tires and wheels both have something to do with it, wheels weight a lot and the tire is wider with more rolling resistance. what I am trying to say is even with different tires the wheels would still weight a lot and the prius would still drive not as good. not arguing just saying =) no wheels for me

had wheels on different cars and never noticed such a huge difference, even when I had the wheels on the scion it still was no where as near as bad as the prius =). I had a feeling it be crappy but just couldn't resist on trying since I already have the wheels just collecting dust. on the other note, love the Prius and next I want to do the rear camera switch as well as the fog mod and that's all she wrote for this one =)
