I think this brings up a good point. I laid out the issues of concern to me, and I believe the Primacy MXM4 is the best fit for those issues. Other drivers will have different concerns, or place them in a different priority, so while these may be great for me, there may be other tires which are better "fits" for other folks.

In my country we are not allowed to change tyres size other than the approved sizes, and Toyota put only one tyre size in my Prius approved specs, the 17" 215/45W; however, I applied to the competent authority for a supplementaI tyre size, and they granted me the 16" 205/55W size. Funny enough, they denied to me the 15" size since it exceeds the 5% maximum allowed difference in the tyre circumference. Anyway, I've bought 16" rims and Vredestain Quatrac 3 205/55 M+S all season tyres. So far, I am very happy with the ride, a lot smoother and quieter than with the 17" Bridgestone Turanza tyres, but with the right amount of precision in the corners, at high and low speeds. IMO, 16" is the right size for Prius, it is not a sporty car. And my back is happy...
