Thanks to the advice posted here and @Rob43 for his pigtail, I have 240V charging enabled for my new 2020 Prius Prime. Media Gallery link embedded.

So,,, you're running 240V through a 120v nema 5-15r outlet,, and a 120V extension cord,,, just lying there,,, on the ground,,,
where anyone can come up and plug in a 120V device,, and with NO warning placards at all?

Is this what you are doing?
And you're telling the world about it?

I am sitting in my Town Home watching everything.
I was thinking of adding some heat enabled wrap where Rob's pigtail connects to my extension.
I guess I should attach some warning labels as well. Will do that!
But this is not a community outlet -- this is my outlet running as an owner.
And when there is no active use, the extension cord and Prius charger are disconnected and removed.
The 240 box will be locked.
Note: the box mounted on the wall is a standard 14-50 outdoor rated outlet. It is not 120V connector at the wall!

    Looks great !

Even though I shipped it out with a "High Voltage" sticker on your pigtail, it still might be a reasonable idea to either:

    1) Shrink wrap (as you said) both the pigtail end and the extension cord end connection points.

    OR

    2) Use 3 zip ties for both connection points, one loop goes around the base of each male & female plugs, the last zip tie connects both loops together in the middle. This way they can't easily be taken apart, then your main disconnect point is your 240v wall outlet. (just like everyone else in the world)

I'm very glad to see you're up and running at 240 volts, charging up in 2 1/2 hours is fantastic !

For extra safety to control attempts to use the pigtail inappropriately, I taped the extension I use to reach the charger to the pigtail. Someone would need to exert a lot of force to disconnect the pigtail.

I also bought some yellow caution tape that I will wrap around the charger electronics where it connects to the extension cord at my parking place.

Won't stop a determined person from monkeying with the connections but they are impeded/warned about any attempt.

And of course, I remove all connections when the car is not being actively charged.

I just finished installing my 240V outlet as well with a new panel breaker with GFCI (13 & 14). I want to find a cradle to put the EVSE next to the outlet whilst the car is charging.

A small bungee cord through the EVSE holes, wrapped around the pole where the outlet is located might work if you remove the EVSE after it has been used to charge the Prius. That is what I am doing for my parking space connection. Using the bungee each time to mount the charger is quick and easy. One of my media photos shows this.

ok, maybe an addition to Chargepoint/Charge hub. Free 120 outlets but we need to keep it a secret :)
