    I think a taxi in Canada (Andrew Grant) has the highest. Gen1 Prius does not have the ODO cap issue. It may only be for 2005 model. We'll find out soon, I guess.

    Is there a way to find out what that mileage is. Hey seawolf have u changed ur headlights to hid's. Thinking of doing mind would like some info if possible.

    Apologies for the threadjack but I thought you'd like to hear about "the king" of the couriers (2.5 million miles) and he does it all on a motorcycle. It won't let me copy and paste the highlights, so see post #35 and the mileage chart. He racked up 800,000 miles just on one bike (Honda VFR's rock :rockon:):

    How many miles can a VFR go, if a VFR...

    Just for clarity, your list of questions should include if you are the original owner of the vehicle (obviously makes a big difference in what you know has been replaced).

    This is pretty cool information for those Prius doubters. I still get questions about how long the battery will last. But living 3 miles from work I read these long-life threads only to live vicariously, as I just recently broke the 40K mile mark in my almost-5 year old Prius and it would be a long, long while before I could post my claim in this thread! About 31 years left to go at my rate... :)

    Hey just an update 299,750. Hopefully tonight i will put the rumors to rest on the odometer not going past 299,999 so i could officially open a 300,000 club. This 2009 prius has really been a joy to drive and saves a lot of money when it comes to gas. I would hate to trade it in if odometer doesnt work, anyway stay tuned I will try to get a video of it if i can.

    The 299,999 odometer limit is not a rumor, but I think it is unclear which model years are affected.

    Update: 300,208 I took a 3 min video from 299999 to 300001 and i also took a pic, will post when I get a chance.
