2nd generation Prius v (lowercase v), 2017 or 2018??

    We made do with a 1997 and 2000 Corolla. The 2000, while small, was a nice car. We had the LE version so it was an upgrade over the 1997 - CD player, power everything, centre shoulder belt and a comfortable ride (it was the last generation with 4-wheel independent suspension). The cheaped out a bit on the 2003-2008 (but added things like a fancier IP, available leather seats and moonroof which wasn't available in Canada until 2003).

    The 2002 Camry was fantastic. Great JBL audio, spacious, new 4-cylinder ULEV engine, large trunk.

    None, as for today.
    Within 2 years Avensis will be discontinued or replaced, who knows...
    In the meanwhile, we have only Prius+ (7 seat).

    The minor refreshes for Prius have typically been two years after the redesign.

    The early 1998 NHW10 Prius was refreshed in 2000 to the NHW11 model the US got. The 2004 model (Gen.II) got a significant refresh in 2006, and the third generation 2010 Prius got a refresh in 2012. I expect we will see changes on the 2018 Prius lift back.
