3 kids in 2009 prius

    Hi all,

    We are expecting baby # 3 in a few weeks and ideally I'd like to continue using our 2009 Prius as our only car instead of having to get a mini van or SUV. I will have an 8 year old, 5 year old and the baby. Ideally I'd like to use an infant car seat for the baby and 2 boosters for my older kids. Any recommendations on what boosters/infant car seats would fit in the 2009 Prius?

    You'll need a bigger car for 3 seats/boosters in the back. A minivan sounds perfect, and you'll need it too

    Even the Gen 4 Prius has 3 LATCH positions, but only enough points to use either the 2 outboard back seats or the middle one since the positions share connection points.

    You will definitely need something larger.

    I have 3 kids ages 12,7,4. My 7 yr old is in a booster and 4 yeah old is in a 4 in car seat its pretty big to. My 12 yr old is taller than me and im 5'4 the kids love it an they have plenty of space. I just got rid of my honda odyssey van with 8 seats for a 5 seater. Best choice ive made. Car seat an two reg booster seats even the ones at target will fit fine.
