You should just wear out these tires and not worry about the sensor. When you get new tires, then you can retrieve the sensor id.

If you try to get them now, you'll end up paying $80 Labor

Or you may be lucky and the previous owner has it stored on his techstream software

I have long since replaced TPMS with another set, so I would assume the stored serial numbers would had been replaced unless our car memorize 2 or 3 sets.

I don't have techstream so that's never stored. And I had never removed the tires to get to the sensors and write down the number. Who would do that LOL

@gta_ Tire shops should have the scan tool, they can read sensors wirelessly, and set them to your car and turn off the TPMS light, that way they don't have to remove tires and you save $.

Yea. I have a tire guy that I'm gonna talk to since he replaced one and was able to program it last year, so I'll see what he can do it for and go from there. I've already been driving with it on anyway since another sensor had died in the stock wheels lol

=) Try to compare car indicated speed with GPS speed to see if the speedo error is closer or totally corrected. ;)

    We all do lol
Ever notice a stock VW or BMW have tighter fender gaps vs stock Toyotas? A neighbor has a Jetta hybrid (any stock Jetta would probably be the same), the tight fender gap would make anyone with stock Corolla n Prius feel shamed :ROFLMAO:

Nice to drive around without any warning lights. I drove around with Corolla TPMS sensors for a month with the light on before I finally cough up some some $$ replaced and program Prius sensors. How much did your tire guy charge to program?
