35 mpg Prius blues.

    I've been getting 60 mpg in my 2005 prius for the last 2 tanks. My wife is now driving smarter and we go about 12 miles each way to work.

    If someone goes 2-3 mile trips a plug-in would go all electric, even up to 8-10 miles. That will be available next. Then you just plug-in at home overnite, off peak.

    I've driven several rental Priuseseses and have yet to go under 48mpg. Either you don't know what you're doing or you got a lemon.

    I'd go on a relatively flat road and put the cruise control on and see what it gets
