376.59 MPG Opel

    I would need to see actual facts on this car. I don't see any way this car could even reach 100 MPG .

    I am very interested in projects like this as I would like to build a project car for max mileage as well.

    I have worked on cars for 30+ years and have been very involved with oval and drag racing for nearly as long. Having a very good understanding of autos, race cars and high performance engines I am having a hard time with 376 MPG . Looking at this car it has to weigh at least 1600+ lbs and that engine has to be very inefficient. (my guess is that you could place it into a back of a truck and let it idle for 376 miles and it would burn more than a gallon of gas)
