In terms of accelerator response, the '16 Eco mode is equivalent to the '13 normal mode.

Otherwise, you can set the Eco Heat/Cool to Eco mode in any mode. There's a shortcut button on the climate control screen. It'll days in Eco mode when your drive mode is in Eco mode but it'll kick back to normal mode in Normal or PWR drive mode. However, unlike the '13, you can still keep the climate control in Eco mode while your drive mode is in normal or PWR.

The PCS with DRCC is a very neat feature. One thing I noticed though is that if the obstacle up ahead is at stand still or if a you're approaching a vehicle at a complete stop, the radar will NOT slow down the vehicle. The radar seems to need to pick up some motion from the object ahead in order to slow down the vehicle.

I too have noticed the PCS system having a bit of a mind of it's own. I do agree that movement seems to be a requirement. I can't seem to brake as late as the PCS system would in an emergency. So I really don't want to find out for sure.
I just bought an older LS 2005 and it does have PCS, we shall see how different they are.

Thanks. One quick question. I own a 2nd gen thinking about 3rd gen. Can you replace individual modules on the hybrid battery of a 3rd gen? I know you can do it on the 2nd gen.

Not sure. Best to ask that question in a new thread in the Gen 3 Technical forum.

Yes. I have replaced them on mine. I but NIMH cells from E-bay I have 285000 miles on my 2012 Gen3 Hybrid pack. I usually get a year between rebuild and replacement if faulty cell banks.
