So after a lot of phone calls and frustration I am still no further forward.

Called Toyota customer service, Lady I spoke to said lead time should not be that long and I need to speak to local garage.
Spoke to local garage who told me they could not help as it had been ordered as a company car via Fleet and I need to speak to customer service.
Call Toyota CS again and the lady I spoke to said I needed to call fleet. She gave me a number which just rings out..

So no further forward and now just frustrated!

I think I will wait a few weeks and then chase again to see if they have any further update

If you're on social media such as Twitter, I strongly suggest posting a tweet including Toyota GB asking for an update as you've been given a runaround. In my experience, I've found some (but not all) large brands tend to be far more responsive to queries posted on social media than queries received at local dealer/customer service centre.

When I contacted ToyotaGB on twitter to ask about mine they were extremely polite and helpful, but gave a very arse covering estimate of 6 months. In the end it took 4 months (March 19th to July 18th) which seemed like an eternity.

I ordered my business plus through lease plan on the 11th July and got a delivery date of the 13th October. Lease Plan order through dealerships and they were the ones to give me the delivery date.

Finally managed to get through to their lease department today.. Apparently due to the model being very popular there is a delay.

The car is due into the UK mid to late October at the earliest...

At least that's better than late November

I'm fortunate in that the dealership mines been ordered through is about 20 mins from where I live, my colleagues Discovery been ordered from is the other end of the country in Oxford, he was meant to get it Wednesday and only found out the day before when he chased it that it would be another week. Then today he found out they actually had no idea where his car was.

I've had some of the worst customer experiences with the car trade in the UK, they just don't seem to care half the time.

Thanks for the welcome Kithmo, early Christmas present for sure , very excited to own my first Prius. After pondering the change to a hybrid for a few years now, a test drive of the gen 4 has finally convinced me to make the change from an oil burner

Yeah I am just far too impatient....
Ive got a VW Touareg that I am trying to keep going in the mean time... I know it needs some work doing but desperately trying to hold off so I can get rid when the Prius arrives

That time every 3 years where the company car order form email comes in.
I have plumped for a 2016 Prius changing up from my Peugeot 3008 hybrid (bloody awful- rattles like anything numb driving experience and awful gearing not to mention the horrendous excuse for a Sat Nav)
Gone got the business edition plus in "hyper sonic" red not sure what's wrong with just red.
Ordered a week ago nothing yet for delivery although my firm tend to keep tight lipped experience has told me 12-14 weeks so hopefully just this side of Christmas.
Took one for a spin and whilst not a "dream" car looking forward to getting behind the wheel and seeing how she goes.

Keep you posted. I'm assuming those that we're waiting have had it delivered? What was the eventual lead time. Mines coming from a lease company however the dealer where I took the test drive said 8-10 weeks for red 4-6 all other colours which seemed remarkably short!
