Wedge shape appears to be there with the disguise on so unless they're using cardboard to hide the shape, the general design appears similar.

I personally think this was a given. They wouldn't dare mess with such an iconic shape/design.

The C&D article linked to in this thread seems to rather clearly say the wedge shape is modified a lot to gain more appeal from mainstream buyers. If the changes improve aero flow I'm all for them.

You mean the very original article that started this thread? I think that also stated 60 mpg. ;-)

Not the way it was described in that MT article/interview. It made it sound like the windshield is more upright with a lower hood and longer roof. In the prototype pictured above, it looks like the windshield is even larger, and the forward part of the roof, moved rearward.

Looks like a pissed off guppy!
I do like the front view.

Didn't see anything to impress me on the sash r console.
    Looks pretty plastically inside.

Doors open cool and practical too especially on a small car.

    Girls look nice.

Riders in the car are all small.. Looks cramped.

These magazines do not understand much. The powertrain is shared with Lexus ct and Prius v and test rig using the Lexus ct instrument cluster is clever. It's harder now since everyone has a camera phone, and it's not going to be 2014.

Clearly they are talking out of their butts but it will look almost the same which I was expecting a real change in shape and slope. It is clear that it will be a 2015 model and look very similar to the third Gen.

So now that we are calling this a design in testing, have we heard any recent news on their Concept 1 & 2 engine designs? You remember the ones they were touting 43.7% efficiency from?

The instrument cluster looks futuristic imo, like the current eyebrow display of the Prius. There is no console!

Biggest change seems to be the interior dash, it looks more conventional looking to me but I'm sure they used softer materials to the touch since that's what many critics complain about. We'll soon find out.

That dash is from the CT200h. I wouldn't put too much into it.

The interior is that of a CT 200h, albeit with some Prius bits duct taped to the center console.
