Yes, it is.
When I try to use the discount code on the advanced version, I receive a "Your cart dos not meet the requeriments for the PRIUSCHAT discount code" message:
Ah, sorry for the trouble. I reorganized our products and didn't realize I had broken the promo code link. It works now.
Thanks Marc, pre-order done.
Just got an Email with tracking #.......
I also received the e-mail
put my order in.. thanks for the discount code! also added a note that if the extremist version is still available I'm interested.
Pixel XL ?
Glad to hear the emails went out smoothly. We have a couple dozen units that we can ship from the FA housings. FA stands for First Articles and refers to the test samples prior to a production run. It's a way to verify that the very expensive steel molds (it's a five-figure cost) produce quality plastic parts. Happily, they are. Once we run out of the FA parts, there will be about a 6-8 wait for the production parts.
Due to the delay, we upgraded all the units we shipped this week to Extremis. We'll upgrade yours too.
However, the part you ordered fits a 2010-2015 Prius. Your moniker is "04"priusnow--do you also have a second, later model Prius?
i did own an 04 a few years ago.. currently have a 2010 with 148k miles and 17" wheels from scion frs.. it will be interesting to see where my milage goes.. lots of hills and 50/50 highway/city. just cleaned intake and milage went down to 46 mpg.. prior it was 48-49. Hope it bounces back next tank. Still need to swap egr cooler with clean one.
Pixel XL ?
my tracking numbers also arrived over the week-end - looking forward to the results. Not that I'm un-happy with the MPG in any way.
@Pedal Logic I'm curious.. sometimes I blip the throttle to drop the engines rpm and increase instant mpg readout. will this still work with your device?
Pixel XL ?
I got mine today! I forget...what mode is the default it ships with?
It's here! It's here!
But...installation instructions are not. I looked on the website, and installation seems fairly straightforward, but working links to the videos would be nice.
Got mine!......installation took all of ten minutes......
It can only attach one way. The trick is getting the electrical connection off of the pedal. When I did mine, I had to initially disconnect the pedal from the firewall. I didn't want to damage the connection.
Slow and steady wins his race. Good luck.
Anyone know what modes are available and the procedure to change modes
Yes. There are no links to install/setup instructions on the website. I remember the beta test being more than just "plug and play." There was a calibration step before using it.
I believe the procedure to change modes is the same as the videos earlier in this thread. It involves holding the pedal down for 60 seconds and watching the light pipe for number of flashes.
