5000 mile indicator to change oil popping up

    Anyone know how to get rid of this message? I was told by dealer it means it's time to rotate the tires. You can turn it off by reading the manual.
    I looked through the manual and maybe I am missing something. I can find the menu on the display button on the steering wheel, but nothing relating to this and it's hard to move around and looks like you could accidentally turn something on or off in there.
    Any ideas?

    n
    After changing the engine oil (U.S.A. only)
    ​

    The oil change system should be reset. Perform the following steps:

    Turn the “POWER” switch OFF with the trip meter A shown.

    Turn the “POWER” switch ON with the MPH or km/h button
     held down.​




    Keep pressing the button until the odometer indicates “000000” and​
    the multi-information display indicates that the reset is complete.
