    That's not born out over the long run.

    Under their plan: They change the oil at 10K and 20K. The owner changes it at 30.
    Under my plan: They change it at 5K and 15K. The owner changes it at 25.
    They "owe" me two oil changes. When I collect them should be of no concern to them.

    I still wonder how many dealers will change their tune after the two free changes are gone.
    In the past they almost ALWAYS tried to sell the owners on following the "severe service" intervals.
