    Thanks!

Because of the crazy bladder, (or inconsistent tank fill up, however you want to look at it.) mpg computed by the car was 65.8. That's not too bad, considering. The difference between the mpg computed by the car and the actual fill up calculation has varied by as much as +21 mpg to -15 mpg.

    Walter,

I think that in order to do it, I had to upload some photos in to a photo album in my profile page. Go to your account and open your profile page. There will be subtabs and one says Albums, open it. There will be a blue button to allow you to create a new album. Do so, name it and upload your pics. Open the picture you like and copy the link in the address bar.

Once done, reply to the thread of choice, click on the "Insert/Edit Image" icon above (it is on the second line of the reply toolbar, the first line has the fonts/font size, smilies, etc, the second line has Bold Italics, Underline....go to the right until you see the Tree icon (next to the film strip icon).

Press the "tree" icon (insert/edit image) paste the copied link, and you should get your picture loaded. If you have a picture on your computer, there is an "Upload File" button below (next to Post Reply and Preview) below. I think that will let you search your computer for a picture. I painted an Ork warboss, I've tried the upload file button.

In Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy and Lord of the Rings games, they spell it Orc. However, in Warhammer 40k, it is spelled Ork. I'm not judging.....I'm just sayin'.

    Oh, and WAAAAAAAGH!

Finally had to fill up. My miles are a little off because I accidently reset the trip after I had gone the half mile home from the gas station and the 11 mile trip to work, so i added that in on my fuelly. No highway driving. Mostly my 11 mile each way commute. P&G whenever possible, no ac, windows down. mostly mid 80s and sunny. Maybe a day or two of rain.
    -Summer time
-Hit 0-Empty at 686 miles, so drove another 17 after
    -10.09 gallons
    -Actual mpg was 70.8
    -OEM 15" wheels and tires

725 miles, filled the tank to the brim with 12.09 gallons = 59.96 MPG, so my gauge is 2 MPG optimistic.

    IMAG0457.jpg

First leg was highway driving from Island Park, ID to SLC, UT, about 300 miles. Speed limit was 75 MPH much of the way, and my MPH ranged from 60-85 MPH (85 downhill) depending on speed limits, and what made the most sense at the time. This 300 mile stretch, I got about 66 MPG (according to the MPG gauge). The AC was on the whole way, and temps were in the 90's. OH! And we had the wife in there, a 1 and 2 year old in car seats, the trunk filled with camping gear, cooler, tent, but not so full I couldn't see out the rear window. I also have hitch.

The remaining 425 miles were mixed city/highway driving. I was in a hurry during some of those trips. Makes me think 800 miles is not just a myth.

If you didn't squeeze 2 more gallons of gas in your gas tank you basically wouldn't even make 700 @ 59.96 mpg with only 0.23 gallons left.

Ah, but if you do it once, the glory is forever! Perry Drives Slow Now may only do a 700 mile tank once, but now he can tell his friends that his car is capable of doing it.
