    pfffffft. Bullpuckey...

    A VW TDI Jetta is EPA rated at 40 MPG hwy and what, 30 city. At the pump, probably avg's 35 MPG at best.

    and diesel is at least $.20 more.

    whoopee that it carves corners, that is so overrated in traffic. All that crap about 'fun to drive' is for weekend getaways, not hauling it to work.
