87.7 MPG Sweeet!!!

    Those look like hypotheticals.

    I never had a GenII, but seasonal fuel log graphs I've seen elsewhere display a severe winter dropoff. GenIII will be different, but no one has logged it through a whole winter yet.
    Bob Wilson has some graphs for that. Best MPG speed is lower than most people find useful, in the vicinity of 20-25 mph.

    Even my non-hybrids with manual transmissions didn't have 'optimum' mpg speeds that high. ScanGauge-II shows that my Subaru does best near 30-35 mph, where it can reach 40-42 mpg without P&G. My old Accord, which was too old to accept a ScanGauge, was geared taller and had better aerodynamics, so I think its best speed was 35-40 mph.

    The common graphs claiming best mpg at speeds near 50 must be for automatic transmissions.

    I started using Pulse and Glide today. Thanks fuzzy1! Now this is getting very addictive. Pics are a continuation of the OP but with the past 30 or so miles using P&G.:eek:
