    Hi everyone
    I installed Toyota oil filter
    90915-YZZE2
And now I get that maybe it's not the right one.

It's still good? I can keep use it?

    I wish my English understandable:)

    Thank you!
Such a nice feeling to feel so welcome.

It fits and its not leaking.
    I just like to understand.

Before I bought the oil filter I read that it's recommended to use a genuine part because there is a difference in membranes between the companys and the original fits exactly the needs of the engine.( How fast does the oil pass through the filter? and does it still clean the oil enough?)

So when i use the "e2" filter that manufactured for different engine will it not make a differenc in engine performance?

    Or:)

I thought possibly not because it's only bigger and more expensive and for the engine size of Prius smaller filter it's enough..

unfortunately, none of your questions have any data based answers. there is no available testing on oil filters.
    oem, aftermarket or otherwise.

    relax and enjoy!
