I am in the process of a Gen 2 engine swap. So far everything is going well and I am about ready to lift the old one out. I have been following the wonderful removal guide located at Gen2 Prius Engine Removal Guide - Out the top of the engine bay | PriusChat . I have disconnected everything connected to the wiring harness and the coolant and fuel hoses. My question is how do I handle the connected AC connections so I do not have to replace the freon?

I think I have the answer to my own question. I will leave the post active in case anyone has the same question later.

You can just unbolt the compressor and leave everything connected.
