A/C recharge product?

Don't use that product.

Try to read as many posting by @lech auto air conditionin as possible, that will get you up to speed with the AC system.

 

Just seen this post today I just got back from Nashville Tennessee MACS Expo in training seminars.
It’s a good thing you doubted yourself on your purchase just find any can of refrigerant that says it’s only R134A that’s all no additives. The only thing I would say allowable in a can refrigerant if it had only UV trace dye in it but no oil additive.
I can always tell those shops in my local area who are consistently the ones having the problems with air-conditioning and replacing parts that don’t need to be replaced on the other hand they’re the ones who don’t replace the parts that need to be replaced and cause other problems. They are the guys who are always asking questions and guessing on what needs to be done to do it right. (isn’t that funny they are the same guys I never see at any of the MACS expos and training facilities to learn more and invest in tools and equipment what a coincidence.)

PS: I do not agree with using small cans to just top off the refrigerant in your car but if that’s what you’re gonna do that’s what you’re gonna do and nobody can stop .
I would recommend possibly going to my photo album in discussions on showing damage caused by using refrigerant cans and maybe my YouTube channel and searching for the post video on charging Prius and how easy it is to overcharge or under charge just buy two or 3 ounces and the damage that it causes.
