A/C system blowing warm air

    I am guessing that the other shop probably put some sort of stop leak into the system hoping that repairs it.

    I wonder how the electric A/C/ compressor likes Stop Leak?

    Thanks, I'll check for any leaks I can find. As for now, system is working great. Works better than my wifes '06 RAV4.

    Thanks, I'll check for any leaks I can find. As for now, system is working great. Works better than my wifes '06 RAV4.

    My "04 Prius AC system is going nuts. It kept on blowing warm air yet the heater works fine. Will the standard refrigerant kit sold in automotive parts stores work with Prius?

    Others can say more, but at the very least know that Prius requires a refrigerant plus special lubricant which is compatible with the windings of the compressor motor. Buy the right stuff from Toyota.

    Do yourself a favor and let the dealer fix it. It will be cheaper in the long run.
