So I am driving home in the evening from work and it is dusk 7:30 and as usual I kick it over to EV mode for the last few blocks because the engine will have to run in the am. I live on a wooded lot and have a long drive. For years rabbits graze on the lawn on the side of my drive. In the spring I see them there all the time. The "lawn" is 8-10 feet wide down the side and then there is woods. I make no attempt to manicure the woods it is just wild. I guess the rabbits feel safe. So I come down the drive and there are 3 rabbits sitting on the drive way. It is 250+ feet long. I am cruising in EV and they just look at me. I get within 6 feet of them just coasting now and they sit there just looking. Finally I want to get home and honk the car. It was like they suddenly realized there was a car in front of them. What a hoot. Biggest smile of my day. This car is too quiet you can sneak up on rabbits in one!

I have this happen all the time with birds and other animals. I think it's just quiet enough and not a person, so they aren't as afraid as they should be.

There are many geese families with little gosslings running around near work. Yesterday I stealthed into the lot like normal and there was a family walking along near the curb. I slowed and cooed for a little while and got very close. Then I saw another car coming up behind me so I took off (in stealth). When the guzzler came up on the geese, they squawked and ran away.

    It's clear who they prefer.
