    My take is from time memorable, there have always been a few hellbent on murder and other unacceptable behavior - some will be deterred, while others won't respond to anything. In the instance of the Aaron Hernandez' the goal is to remove the cancer.

    hernandez' cousins husband died in a car crash sunday. police were looking to speak with him. the car was registered to henandez' uncle. coincidence?

    The underlying problem with players getting into trouble with the law may be bigger than any sports league can deal with. How many of these jocks were either latch-key kids or had a single parent raising them? Star athletes get the blind eye on too many things in high school and college and probably deluded they can do anything.

    hernandez' father died when he was in high school. supposedly, that's when he went off the tracks. but i have a feeling trouble was brewing before that.

    ^ the way the Patriots organization is handling it is an example for others to follow - that part is good.

    Not so good for Aaron Hernandez.
