Where's a good source to get an abs actuator? Rockauto and dorman are out of stock. The used units on eBay seem like they wouldn't last long. Anyone know a source to get a decent part? The abs accumulator noise that is present when turning off the car, has changed from a buzz to a grinding noise. No triangle but I feel it coming soon

If you are only hearing the noise when you turn off the car (not while you are driving it), it may not be the braking system at all. Possibly it is the pump that fills the Coolant Heat Storage canister (aka "thermos") that is making noise, a much less serious problem.

Ah ok, thanks, that would make sense. The check engine light has been on for 2 months with code 1121, a coolant control valve

I've been looking at factory parts for mine and all I'm finding is about $1100. My local dealer wants $1700 + $1000 to install. I'm getting the pump motor running about every 20 sections.

This seems to be the going rate online from Toyota.

Would post a link but I'm new so not allowed yet.

Yes, that's a good price (discounted from the RRP of around $1,750) for a factory new part.
