Hello so recently my good ol’ Prius has been having abs brake and traction lights turn on. Brought out my scanner and it’s a co215 and said it’s left rear sensor got it check out and was told it’s all good but the issue is that the lights will go on and then like maybe 5-10 min later go back out again, I was told it had something maybe to do with cold weather but I’m completely clueless anything would help at this point

i would check all the connections, and if everything looks good, replace it.

if in doubt, doublecheck the codes with tech stream. how many miles on her?

If you look in the repair manual (more info) you will find a "check mode" you can enable for the wheel speed sensors. It makes the ECU's problem-reporting threshold much more sensitive, so any problems that normally seem intermittent will be much easier to reproduce and troubleshoot.

i'm just talking about a visual check of the harness going to the wheel.

who told you it could have something to do with the cold? do you have a mechanic that services the vehicle?

Nothing wrong with a visual check. If you find the problem that way, great.

If you have an intermittently-detected problem that challenges you to find it, the check mode you can turn on in the skid ECU is your friend.
